Montereau has achieved outstanding fundraising success once again for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s campaign in Tulsa!
With the close of December comes the official end to months of fundraising events that garnered contributions from residents, staff, family members, and Montereau vendors – all in the name of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. Those contributions, added together, total $243,126.22, making Montereau the 5th largest fundraising team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the nation!
In 2017, the Montereau Walk to End Alzheimer’s team held a number of unique events including a golf tournament that raised more than $150,000, a pancake breakfast, and a Cookout for a Cause. Each Friday, staff members supported the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in Spirit Days, as well, wearing jeans and Montereau polo shirts or t-shirts in exchange for a $5 donation to the Walk. This fundraising activity has proven so popular that we’re making it a year-round campaign!
Our team’s fundraising success would not have been possible without the support of more than 350 generous donors, including a number of staff and residents. To these donors, we say thank you. You are helping make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
