It’s been six years since Montereau’s Protestant Congregation pledged to reach out to the Tulsa community and support local missions. No one knew at the time that their impact would be as far-reaching as it has become. Their generous donations have increased each year, totaling more than $170,000 since they began.
This giving spirit is a daily part of life at Montereau. In addition to monetary gifts, nearly half of Montereau’s Independent Living residents give generously of their time through volunteer work within the Montereau community and through numerous nonprofit organizations.
Six Tulsa charitable groups have received financial assistance from the Montereau Protestant Congregation so far this year. They are the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, the Little Lighthouse, John 3:16 Mission, Fire Safety Center, The Parent Child Center of Tulsa, and the Montereau Benevolent Fund.
